KISD Invitational Results

This past Saturday the Midway swim team traveled to Killeen for the annual KISD Invitational.  There were a total a 20 schools and over 400 athletes competing at the meet.  Girls finished 3rd overall with 115 points behind Dripping Spring high school (271 points) and Cedar Ridge high school (170 points).  The boys team won

Cleburne Tri-Meet Results

On Thursday night the swim team traveled to Cleburne to competed in a tri-meet against Cleburne high school and Burleson high school.  Many swimmers continued to improve and drop time at the meet.  Overall the girls finished 1st with 125 points compared to Cleburne with 72 and Burleson with 86.  The boys also finished 1st

Georgetown Sprint Meet Re-cap

On Saturday September 30th the Midway swim team traveled to Georgetown to compete in the annual Georgetown ISD Sprint Meet to kick off the ’17-’18 season.  Out of 12 area schools the girls’ team finished 5th overall and the boys’ team finished 3rd overall.  The combined team score placed Midway 3rd overall at the meet.

District Meet Re-Cap

This past Friday and Saturday, the Midway swim team traveled to Killeen for the District 10-6A championship meet.  The swimmers really came prepared and ready to compete fueled by their desire for a first ever district title at the 6A level.  31 swimmers competed in prelims on the first day with 25 of them qualifying

The Midway swim team will host its annual Spooktacular swim meet on Saturday October 29th at the Waco Family YMCA.  12 high schools from across central Texas are bringing a total of 236 athletes to compete in the meet.  The first races will start at 10:00am so come out to the YMCA and cheer on

Inter-Squad Meet Results

On Saturday the Midway Swim team held their annual Inter-squad meet at the Waco Family YMCA.  The Blue team came out on top in both the boys and girls divisions.  It was a great way to kick off the 2016-17 season.  Now the hard work begins in preparation of a long, challenging season.  Up next

The Midway swim team will kick off their 2016-2017 season with the annual Inter-squad meet on Saturday September 10th at the Waco Family YMCA.  The swimmers need to arrive at the pool at 1pm and the meet will begin at 2pm.  We would like to encourage all of the parents of swimmers to come out
